The Peche Restaurant named one of the top restaurants in New Orleans. The Peche also received the James Beard award of best new restaurant in America. Their food is inspired by cooking in South America, the Gulf Coast, and Spain. Three award winning chefs designed Peche Seafood Grill. The main focus of the restaurant is to work with local fishermen, and farmers who catch, and harvest regularly. Providing them with fresh, tasty produce. Peche serves contemporary dishes, their rustic creations are cooked on an open hearth. Fresh oysters and Gulf fish are served fresh. Reservations are encouraged for large parties, but their bar and oyster bar are available for walk-ins. Private dining is made available in their private facility. For lunch and dinner they serve a raw bar. This includes: Seafood salad, gulf shrimp, steak tartare with oyster aioli, snapper ceviche with coconut, and their signature seafood platter. Their snacks include: shrimp toast, smoked tuna dip, fried bread with sea salt, hushpuppies, and crawfish croquettes with fontina. They serve a variety of small places. Their soups and salads include: potato leek soup, seafood gumbo, mixed green salad with goat cheese and almonds. Entrees include: grilled tuna, baked drum, smothered catfish, Louisiana shrimp roll, grilled hanger steak, grilled chicken with leeks, and a jumbo shrimp with coconut. A 22 oz ribeye and a whole grilled fish are served in their whole table options. They also offer a certain variety of sides. Their desserts include: key lime pie, salted peanut pie, strawberry galette, salted caramel cake, chocolate pudding, and your choice of ice cream or sorbet. A separate pastry chef makes their desserts in house. Specialty cocktails, wines, rose, beer, cans bottles, and ciders are offered at their bar.
