The Magnolia Mansion offers a prominent location in the surrounding Uptown community with enchanting and pleasant garden surroundings featuring a freshwater fountain. Magnolia Mansion is located one block from the historic Saint Charles Avenue, home of New Orleans finest southern mansions. This creates the perfect location for weddings, private events, and elopement packages. 

Magnolia Mansion, built in 1857 is one of New Orleans treasured historical buildings. Our Mansion brings you back to the periods in time that held these mansions in their highest esteem. Magnolia Mansion offers our highly experienced staff from event coordinators to our Culinary Institute of America Executive Chefs to our caring and impeccable housekeepers.

Magnolia Mansion offers the possibility of outdoor courtyard tenting (tent rental fee additional) as well as our beautiful mansion parlors, or fine dining restaurant. The alluring courtyard complete with charming southern landscape and flowing fresh water fountains offers a stunning setting for an outdoor New Orleans wedding. The front entrance leading to a majestic mansion with its grand stairs case and its elegant 24-foot high veranda, a perfect setting for cocktail hour.

Once inside, you travel back to an era of splendor entering into the grand hallway leading to an elegant parlor adorned with period furniture and an antique Steinway piano and crystal chandeliers abound. 

The Mardi Gras Package (Elopement Package)

Venue Rental Only

 3 hours of use of the venue (indoors or outdoors).

All tables, chairs, white linens, and a staff attendant included.

  • 50 guests or less: $2,500
  • 51-100: $3,200
  • 101-150: $4,000
  • 151-200: $5,600
  • 201-250: $7,500
  • $1,000 per Extra Hour

The Gone with the Wind Package

  • Up to 50 guests
  • One (1) Hour Ceremony
  • Two (2) Night Stay in one of our Deluxe King Suites for the Bride and Groom
  • Interfaith pastor or judge to officiate
  • Ceremony framed with fresh flowers
  • Bridal bouquet and Groom’s boutonniere

The Moulin Rouge Package

The Storyville Package

Package includes:
Up to 120 Guests
One (1) Hour Ceremony --- Three (3) Hour Reception
Two (2) Night Stay in one of our Deluxe King Suites
Interfaith pastor or judge to officiate
Ceremony framed with fresh flowers
Bridal bouquet and Groom’s boutonniere
Chilled Champagne for toasting
Two (2) Witnesses provided

Cost: $13,500.00 minimum + Tax
 
 
We offer a customized menu for your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception.

The Initial Deposit of 50% is required to hold your venue.
Other services and rentals are available upon request. 


General Information:

Candles are allowed as long as they remain inside lanters.

Live entertainment is welcomed at events; however, due to city ordinances, end time must be by 10:00pm.

Our indoor parlor can seat 75 people comfortably.

All packages include tables, chairs, and linend.

 

ALL PAYMENTS INCLUDING DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

 

Located on the ground floor of Magnolia Mansion is out intimate venue available for private parties/events. The Magnolia Mansion Main Floor can seat up to 60.
